My first priestess ++ GaLaDRieL ++

I don't really know what the reason is for my love of clerics but ever since I played one I haven't gotten bored of it. It's actually one of the most difficult jobs one can play in a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG). Maybe I just like the challenge. Or maybe I just find that they're the cutest avatars. ^_~

My first priestess in Ragnarok Online is named ++ GaLaDRieL ++. Actually, she's not the very first character I played but since my very first character didn't even get to see the Hunter guild, I consider her my first. I named her Galadriel after Cate Blanchett's character in the Lord of the Rings. I was looking for an elven name and it struck me as the perfect one because one, she's a queen and two, she's very powerful. I was planning to make a battle priestess so the name was perfect. She has long blond hair just like the movie Galadriel. Too bad there isn't such a thing as long, wavy haired avatars... If there was, it would fit to a cinch.

Until about base level 60, I leveled ++ GaLaDRieL ++ painstakingly, killing hode after hode under the stifling Morroc sun. Patience is key as other players beg me to heal or buff them but since I have limited spirit points or SP, I often cannot do as they wish. I barely even have enough for myself!

When I finally found a guild nice enough to accept me, I found out that being a battle priestess is very unconventional. It was one, if not the most, difficult type of character to level up. I wasn't ready to give up on ++ GaLaDRieL ++ though. I played her until she reached base level 87 before I finally decided to make a real full support priestess.

Reposted from my Friendster blog which I gave up on because it was to slow.
