I will never go back to that place again.
Where else in the world can you go to a resort which runs out of water? Unbelievable. I was in that shower stall for God knows how long with dried out soap on my skin kneeling beside the faucet and praying for a miracle. Several minutes later, my savior finally came with bottles of mineral water.
The swimming pool was so dirty that you can't see the bottom anymore. The deepest part was only four feet high. We decided to go to the other pool which was called the Batis Pool since its water comes from a natural stream. It was green with moss but at least it was supposed to be that way.
The heat was stifling under our tolda. After an hour of rereading Sick Puppy, I myself got sick of the unbearable heat. Fanning myself with a paper plate, I decided to move over to where the lasenggeros are. It was the best decision I made that day.
EJ and Eric took pictures of the animals in the place which was one of the few good things about the park. As a result, my current phone wallpaper is a three-legged ostrich.
